NINE2025: 1st International Conference on Artistic Research and Design Methodologies

The 1st International Conference on Research in Artistic Processes and Projectual Methodologies is envisioned as a space for reflection and exchange dedicated to artistic and design research practices. Focused in areas such as architecture, visual arts, design, curatorial studies, literature, and sound – among other forms of expression – the conference affirms the central role of art in knowledge production. Artistic research is here understood as a process that interweaves thought and action, engaging not only aesthetics and technique, but also cultural, social, ethical, and existential dimensions.

The thematic coverage of the event includes, but is not restricted to, the following topics: arts based research, project based research, documentation of research and transdisciplinary project based research.
