“Constructionist Approaches to Language Pedagogy” (CALP) is a biennial international conference that previously took place in Brussels (2013), Basel (2016), Austin (USA, 2018), and Erlangen (2024).The goal of this conference is to explore how Construction Grammar (Fillmore 1988, Croft 2001, Goldberg 2006) can inform and advance Language Pedagogy by creating innovative teaching strategies and educational resources.

The event’s areas of interest encompass the following topics, without limitation: construction grammar, language pedagogy, constructionist approaches and constructicon.
