SLLM 2025: SLLM- Buck The Trend: Make LLMs Specific and Reduce the Cost of Intelligence

“SLLM- Buck The Trend: Make LLMs Specific and Reduce the Cost of Intelligence”- In this workshop, we focus on pushing the trend of data-hungry to data-efficient LLM generation that can perform useful tasks neatly with much lesser cost. Such research efforts will certainly beckon towards democratizing the design and development of LLMs. It seems that the current focus is to build bigger and grander LLMs with more than trillion parameters that are realized through unprecedented infrastructural and computational resources along with substantial investment support. A parallel endeavour is required to look into building models that are more computing friendly, energy efficient and do not demand huge volume of data for learning.

This conference invites submissions addressing, though not exclusively, the following areas: generative ai, llm, model compression and edge analytics.
