IMOVICCON 2025: International Moving Image Cultures Conference 2025

IMOVICCON is a biennial academic conference that serves as a platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to explore and discuss the ever-evolving landscape of moving image cultures. The conference was initiated through a collaboration between the Film & Animation Program at Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) and the Visual Communication Design Program at Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH). First held in 2019, IMOVICCON has since become a space for in-depth discussions on the intersections of visual media, digital technology, and society.

Submissions will centre on the following themes, while also considering additional relevant topics: moving image, cultural shift and image moving.
