FCW26: Future Computing Workshop 2026
FCW26 (Future Computing Workshop 2026)is a two-day event organized by HLRS in Stuttgart, bringing together researchers, architects, and developers from academia, industry, and national labs to discuss the future of high-performance computing (HPC). With traditional scaling laws plateauing, the workshop focuses on emerging paradigms and heterogeneous architectures such as accelerators, photonic, neuromorphic, and other technologies. Its goal is to bridge gaps between hardware vendors, software developers, computer and domain-specific scientists, fostering collaboration and exploring medium-term scenarios for advancing HPC.
Submissions will centre on the following themes, while also considering additional relevant topics: high performance computing (hpc), ai, emerging technologies and scientific computing.
