GCITSD 2026: The Global Conference on Innovation, Technology, and Sustainable Development
The Global Conference on Innovation, Technology, and Sustainable Developmentis pleased to invite submissions of full papers, abstracts, and special session proposals for its 1st GCITSD annual conference to be held at Ebolowa, Cameroon Under the supervision of TBS Education, Toulouse in France and The Faculty of Arts, Letters and Social Sciences of the University of Ebolowa, Cameroon, from June 12 to 13, 2026. This landmark continental event aims to gather scholars, researchers, policy makers, business professionals, civil society representatives and community leaders engaged in sustainable development in Africa and beyond around the theme: “Sustainable, Smart Cities and Environment: Challenges and Perspectives in Africa”.Africa is the fastest-urbanizing continent. According to UN-Habitat (2022), more than half of its population will live in cities by 2035. This rapid urban growth presents both opportunities and pressing challenges, including informal housing, social inequalities, fragile infrastructure (water, energy, and mobility), environmental degradation, food insecurity, and heightened vulnerability to climate change.
The event’s areas of interest encompass the following topics, without limitation: digital transformation and smart technologies, social dimensions and human development, climate environment and resilience and policy governance and financing.
