DESCRIPTION:In the past two decades\, cybersecurity standards have advanced
  significantly and many of them have become very widely used. Despite thei
 r widespread use\, it is essential to continually revise existing standard
 s and develop new standards to cover emerging domains\, such as post-quant
 um cryptography\, fully homomorphic encryption\, 6G and artificial intelli
 gence. The purpose of the 2025 SSR conference is to discuss the numerous r
 esearch challenges arising from studies of existing standards\, the develo
 pment of revisions to these standards\, and the exploration of entirely ne
 w areas of standardization. Many security standards bodies are only beginn
 ing to address the issue of transparency\, ensuring that the process of se
 lecting security techniques for standardization is as scientific and unbia
 sed as possible. This conference aims to cover the entire range of securit
 y standardisation research.Topicsinclude\, but are not limited to\, develo
 pments in cryptographic techniques\, security management\, security evalua
 tion criteria\, security policy\, network security\, privacy and identity 
 management\, as well as technologies such as smart cards and RFID tags\, b
 iometrics\, and security modules. It also covers industry-specific securit
 y standards\, including those created by the payments\, telecommunications
 \, and computing sectors for systems like payment protocols\, mobile telep
 hony\, and trusted computing. Through in-depth research presentations and 
 open discussions\, the conference aims to advance the field of security st
 andardization\, fostering a collaborative environment for both revising ex
 isting standards and developing new ones to address the evolving challenge
 s in cybersecurity.\n\nThis conference invites submissions addressing\, th
 ough not exclusively\, the following areas: cryptographic protocols\, cybe
 rsecurity\, it security and standardisation.
