DESCRIPTION:As digital mapping and location-based services become integral 
 to daily life\, the issue of location privacy grows increasingly critical.
  This thematic session will build upon the momentum fromlast yearand conti
 nue exploring the intersection of privacy\, technology\, and geography\, f
 ocusing on the ethical and technological challenges associated with geospa
 tial data collection and usage. In this thematic session\, we invite paper
 s that explore the theoretical\, methodological\, and applied perspectives
  on location privacy\, spanning issues such as geodata masking\, privacy r
 isk assessment\, mobility trajectories\, and the ethical implications of e
 merging sensor technologies. The session will also highlight innovative fr
 ameworks\, policy approaches\, and technical solutions for enhancing priva
 cy protections while ensuring the benefits of geospatial technologies can 
 be fully realized.\n\nThe event welcomes contributions on a wide range of 
 themes\, including but not limited to: privacy\, ethics\, gis and spatial 
 data science.
